What is a scanned copy of passport picture page? - answer! Answers

What is a scanned copy of passport picture page?

I need a scanned copy of my passport picture page and high school diploma authenticated in order to study abroad.
Is it the same as photocopy? Can I photocopy these documents or does it have to be scanned?

Before I get my passport and high school diploma authenticated, I need to get it signed from a solicitor. I'm really confused here, please help.

Where can I get it scanned from?

Thank you.

I think you should check before you do this as it is never a good idea to send out personal details unless necessary. Of course, if this is needed for a visa, it would be necessary.

You will need to do this in two stages; first you will photocopy your passport and diploma, ideally onto a single sheet of paper, then you will get the photocopy signed by a solicitor/notary as a 'true copy of the original'. The solicitor/notary will also need to see the originals. The idea is to prevent you from sending a Photoshopped document.

Then this piece of paper will need to be scanned in to your computer and emailed as an image attachment to whomever is arranging your study abroad.
